Overview
To prevent duplicate content, JomSocial 3.0.1 brings some changes in how page title for JomSocial object is handled
JomSocial objects included in this improvement are:
- Profile pages
- Group pages
- Event pages
Before the change
Prior to JomSocial 3.0.1 all these object had same page title which was pretty much poor when it comes to SEO
Search engines would treat all profile pages in every JomSocial community as a duplicate content just because page title was the same
It also goes for every single group, and event page
