Overview
Since version 2.2.x, JomSocial provides a built-in Akismet as its spam filtering service. But before anything, you have to register for Akismet to obtain the Akismet API Key. For further information regarding Akismet, please click here.
Setting Up
To start enabling Akismet:
- Once registered with Akismet, enter JomSocial's backend, click "Configuration". The Configuration page opens.
- Select the "Anti Spam" tab.
- Under the Akismet's section, choose 'Yes' to "Enable Akismet."
- Fill in the Akismet API Key obtained during the registration.
- Choose the spesific filters that you want Akismet to work on.
